Research Memo 1
I recently changed my topic to Adderall on college students. I thought about just doing Adderall in general but I felt Adderall on students that surround me everyday would be a lot more fascinating. I want to know why students turn to this drug, who uses it in a college environment, and what are the side effects. In high school, I would sometimes hear the name get thrown around, but as I entered college, Adderall became an everyday topic. Someone needed it, someone was on it, someone praised it. Besides looking at online articles and videos, I would like to get some real life information. And there is no better place to get information on this topic but from my peers here at school. I was hoping to get some experiences from students and maybe even statistics and then I could go online and get information on the actual pill itself.
If I were to interview students I would ask questions like below:
1.) Have you ever heard of Adderall? (If yes, continue to question #2)
2.) How did you hear about it?
3.) Have you ever taken Adderall?
4.) Why did you take Adderall?
5.) Where did you get it?
6.) What happened when you took it? What were the effects?
7.) Was it an overall good or bad experience?
8.) Are you prescribed?
9.) Would it be worth it to take illegally?
10.) Do you feel as though you rely on Adderall?
